I'm online, reading through an email correspondence with a friend I've known since child- hood. I'd previously breezed through a dozen or so news articles on various topics, mostly world events and technology. I have an ove- rall brain-numb feeling: an inability to construct coherent thoughts, an inability to respond to this latest email, a total paralysis, an ability for action. Only to listlessly consume information in an unreflecting way. |
